About Us

Since the first production in 19??, Stage Hanna has evolved into a very active and successful community theatre group.  A number of creative individuals have fostered our growth through full-length comedies, dramas, and musicals. As we have grown, happily, so too has our audience. We are a non-profit organization and our success is due to countless volunteers who, for more than 40 years have contributed their time and talents to many roles, both on and off the stage.

Live theater is a unique and magical experience that allows audiences to be fully immersed in a story, and transported to another world. Whether it’s a classic play, a musical, or a contemporary piece, live theater has the power to move and inspire us like no other art form. The performers bring characters to life, and the audience is invited to share in their journey. This connection creates a sense of community and shared experience that is truly special.

In addition to the emotional impact, Stage Hanna’s live productions offer a level of creativity and artistry that is truly impressive. From the costumes and set design to the lighting and sound effects, every aspect of each production is carefully crafted to enhance the story being told.

Stage Hanna is grateful for the support of The Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
